Vegan Banana Bread by Gaynor Vincent



  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 75ml vegetable oil
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 225g self-raising flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder (heaped)
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 50g of your favourite nuts (optional)



  1. Start by mashing the bananas in a bowl
  2. Then mix in the oil and sugar
  3. Mix together the remaining dry ingredients
  4. Add to the bananas, oil and sugar
  5. Mix together in a large bowl
  6. Add mixture to a bread tin
  7. Cook for 20-25 mins at 180°C
  8. Enjoy!
