With its deep, weighty 8″ blade and rugged 30° edge, this traditional butcher’s hatchet is built for serious chopping power. It’s ideal for breaking down ribs, poultry, and light bones (within reason), as well as tackling firm vegetables with ease. The broad blade also comes in handy for crushing garlic, ginger, and herbs.
Unlike our 8″ Cleaver, which has a finer 15° edge better suited to slicing and precision work, the Hatchet is designed to deliver controlled force when you need it most.
